Master of Arts in Museum Studies
Cooperstown Graduate Program, May 2014
I recently graduated from the Cooperstown Graduate Program where I was exposed through generalist coursework to best practices in collections care, educational programming, administration, development, exhibition, material culture, and community engagement. I also have a background in American history and natural history topics. I focused my thesis on building online communities by following the example of prominent YouTube educators.
Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science, Networking, and Programming
Wayne State College, May 2011
I studied computer technology, focusing in good part on e-learning and how it is separate from other styles of learning as well as technical support and networking. My senior colloqiuum project gave me the opportunity to learn a lot about Alzheimer's Disease and Autism Spectrum Disorders and about how these groups might be engaged.
