INTERPRETIVE TRAIL GUIDE FOR THE IROQUOIS INDIAN MUSEUM
My group and I were tasked with creating a trail guide for the museum's Nature Park. While creating the brochure, I was exposed to the delicate task of balancing scientific accuracy with cultural sensitivity. As one primary purpose to the document was to assure visitors that the Iroquois are a living people, text was carefully worded, and pictures of the present day area were used.
The brochure, which is printed on an 11 by 17 piece of paper and then folded in half and then trifolded, went through several design changes. We wanted to tie the design back to the Iroquois Nation's flag, which was done through the boxes and the purples in text and vector images.
The brochure created is currently in production. Once production is complete, I will be updating this page with images of the finished product.
